It is that time of year again… Welcome to Draft Day
Pick 1 — Las Vegas Raiders
Selection: QB Fernando Mendoza - Indiana
This one is set in stone. Mendoza has been rumored to be already studying Kubiak's playbook. A 6'5 towering passer, Mendoza took Indiana to places they've never been. His ability to drive the ball to the far side of the field with zip and accuracy is not something you can teach. The Raider's will utilize Jeanty in the play action game to open things up for Mendoza in year 1.
Pick 2 — New York Jets
Selection: LB Arvell Reese - Ohio State
Head Coach Aaron Glenn needs to find a difference maker for his defense to build around. Shipping out stars Sauce Gardner and Quinnen Williams have forced this issue. Arvell Reese is a 3-Down pass rusher who Glenn can move around the front 7. Reese's ability to attack at lethal angles should translate well to the NFL.
Pick 3 — Arizona Cardinals
Selection: OT Francis Mauigoa - Miami
While the Cardinals have made it very clear they would like to trade out of this pick. We don't think they will, and newly hired head coach Mike Lafleur inherits an offensive line that ranked in the bottom third in both the run and pass according to PFF. Being able to snag the stalwart RT from Miami will solidify an extremely shaky right-half of their line. Mauigoa is a Cristobal disciple, showing elite hands mixed with overwhelming power.
Pick 4 — Tennessee Titans
Selection: RB Jeremiyah Love - Notre Dame
The Titans desperately need playmakers around Cam Ward to help with his development. Adding Wandale Robinson in the offseason will not be enough, and the Titans have tipped their hand in what playmaker they prefer at pick 4. Jeremiyah Love can help two fold, with his ability to rush and catch passes out of the backfield. The Doak Walker winner will be the pick here as long as he is available.
Pick 5 — New York Giants
Selection: S Caleb Downs - Ohio State
After shipping off Dexter Lawrence for the 10th overall pick, the Giants need to reload defensively. Caleb Downs is our #1 overall prospect in the 2025 class, and we believe the giants are a match made in heaven for the Buckeye green dot. A drop safety with the ability to sniff out almost any alignment, this is the exact type of player that Harbaugh has relied on to lead his defenses. Giants get extreme value here.
Pick 6 — TRADE! Dallas Cowboys (From Cleveland)
Selection: LB Sonny Styles - Ohio State
The Cleveland Browns send Pick 6 and 37 for Picks 12 and 20.
The Cowboys desperately need to make a splash defensively. Styles is a do it all Linebacker who can immediately help the Cowboys ailing run defense. A true athletic freak, Styles is a force in the run game, and has developed in Patricia's Cover-1 heavy scheme in pass defense. Moving up from 12 allows Dallas to get an elite defender and jump division rival Washington who is rumored to love the Ohio State prospect.
Pick 7 — Washington Commanders
Selection: OT Monroe Freeling - Georgia
Washington has to protect their rising star at QB, who has already dealt with a number of injuries in his 2 season career. Washington taps Monroe Freeling, the behemoth out of Athens Georgia who has shot up draft boards as of late. A smooth, confident finisher, Freeling is an agile giant who may be the best pure Left Tackle in this draft.
Pick 8 — New Orleans Saints
Selection: OLB David Bailey - Texas Tech
The Saints have aging stars along the DL and have the perfect opportunity to add youth and explosiveness in David Bailey. A consistent contributor throughout his college career, Shiel Wood has been able to turn Bailey loose, attacking the ball carrier and stuffing the stat sheet. Bailey's versatility as an off-ball linebacker or a speed rushing edge would be the perfect Swiss army knife for the NOLA DL.
Pick 9 — Kansas City Chiefs
Selection: OT Spencer Fano - Utah
In the latter half of the season, the Chiefs offense fell solely onto Mahomes' ability to create off script. A lack of a running game and an injured OL exacerbated this issue. Grabbing a guy like Fano who could play anywhere along to OL could be a great insurance policy for the Chiefs in 2026.
Pick 10 — New York Giants (From Cincinnati Bengals)
Selection: WR Carnell Tate - Ohio State
The Giants acquired this pick from the Dexter Lawrence trade. Losing Wandale Robinson has made a lackluster receiving room behind Nabers even thinner, and Carnell Tate could be the perfect compliment to the former 6th overall pick. A smooth route runner with an ability to consistently win at the line of scrimmage, Tate could be the piece the Giants tap at pick 10.
Pick 11 — Miami Dolphins
Selection: Edge Reuben Bain Jr. - Miami
Miami will be resetting with new Head Coach Jeff Hafley, and a main focus will be rebuilding an underwhelming defense. With Bain our clear best player available in this slot, the Dolphins luck out with a cornerstone piece of their defensive line. Bain is a monster in both the run and pass games, and will be an immediate impact for a reeling Miami Defense.
Pick 12 — Cleveland Browns (From Dallas Cowboys)
Selection: CB Mansoor Delane - LSU
After trading back with the Cowboys, the Browns also go Best Player Available and snag many people's CB1 in Mansoor Delane. Delane is a clean prospect, with loads of tape throughout multiple defensive schemes, commanding a deep knowledge of the backend throughout his career. After transferring to the SEC this last fall, Delane showed no drop off in production. The Browns make off with a steal at pick 12.
Pick 13 — Los Angeles Rams (from Atlanta Falcons)
Selection: WR Jordyn Tyson - Arizona State
The Rams acquired this pick in their trade back with Atlanta last year. Many have rumored this pick to be Makai Lemon, but with Tyson still on the board we believe the Rams will tap the ASU Wideout. Tyson's extreme ball skills mixed with unreal athleticism has been on display since his freshman season at Colorado. While injuries have hampered his stock, the Rams may take the gamble with Davante Adams in the twilight of his career.
Pick 14 — Baltimore Ravens
Selection: IOL Vega Ioane - Penn State
The Ravens are resetting with new head coach Jesse Minter, and part of that reset includes the Offensive line. Losing multiple starters to Free Agency, the Ravens strike gold with one of the most NFL-Ready Prospects in this draft. Vega Ioane is an absolute War Pig in the middle of the line and will plug and play day 1 for the Ravens aging OL.
Pick 15 — Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Selection: CB Jermod McCoy - Tennessee
The Buccaneers' secondary was exposed multiple times last season, and losing Jamel Dean to free agency compounds this issue. Jermod McCoy, who missed all of last season with an ACL tear, could make an immediate impact here. With all the athleticism in the world, McCoy has shown elite awareness and timing defending routes down the sideline. A willing tackler as well, McCoy would instantly improve the Bucs secondary.
Pick 16 — New York Jets (from Indianapolis Colts)
Selection: WR Makai Lemon - USC
After selecting Arvell Reese at 2, the Jets snag the perfect compliment to Garrett Wilson and Adonai Mitchell with the former Belitnikoff winner, Makai Lemon. Lemon is a demon in the slot, displaying elite YAC capability, as well as a knack for manipulating the defenders up the seam. Glenn strikes gold for a team that desperately needs an infusion of talent.
Pick 17 — Detroit Lions
Selection: OT Blake Miller - Clemson
After losing Ragnow and Skipper to retirement in back to back years, the Lions need a youthful infusion along the OL. Blake Miller was one of the highest graded players by PFF ever, and has improved as a pass blocker in each of his seasons at Clemson. A large, athletic tackle who moves well for his size, this is a piece that fits Campbells scheme and attitude perfectly.
Pick 18 — Minnesota Vikings
Selection: S Dillon Thienemann - Oregon
Minnesota's Defense was opportunistic but overall lackluster in 2025. There has been much speculation that the Vikings love the Oregon safety, and there is tons to love. A fast, athletic freak who can play center field or drop in the box, Dillon Thienemann has excelled in every position he's played in college.
Pick 19 — Carolina Panthers
Selection: TE Kenyon Sadiq - Oregon
The Panthers have seen improvement from former first overall pick Bryce Young every time a weapon has been added to their offense. With Sadiq, he can help out two fold in the intermediate passing game, and as a rugged run blocker. With one of the greatest performances in combine history for a tight end, Sadiq gets the nod at 19.
Pick 20 — Cleveland Browns (From GB through DAL)
Selection: OT Caleb Lomu - Utah
With their second selection of the night, the Browns are able to solidify their offensive line that lost multiple pieces in free agency. Lomu is a beast at LT and gave up only 3 pressures all season. With great movement and balance, Lomu would be a perfect candidate to play either side of the line necessary for Cleveland in 2026.
Pick 21 — Pittsburgh Steelers
Selection: Edge Keldric Faulk - Auburn
The Steelers have aging stars along their defensive line, and Faulk could be a perfect hybrid piece to pair with last years first rounder Derrick Harmon. Faulk is an elite run defender who can play along multiple DL positions. The Steelers can only rely on Watt and Hayward for so much longer before their replacements are found.
Pick 22 — Los Angeles Chargers
Selection: IOL Emmanuel Pregnon - Oregon
The Chargers offensive line in 2025 was an affront to football as a sport. The idea that you can throw any warm body out onto the field, expecting them to hold up better than a wet cardboard box is a laughable assumption and one that got Greg Roman fired. It is crucial the Chargers protect Herbert. Pregnon is the best IOL available in this spot, and while some consider it a reach, we consider it a necessary evil. Pregnon has been a journeyman throughout college, but his clean performances have been consistent. This would be an A+ in the mind of every Charger supporter.
Pick 23 — Philadelphia Eagles
Selection: Edge Cassius Howell - Texas A&M
Howie Roseman has shown that he is not afraid to take a player who may not have every box checked. Cassius Howell's measurements at the combine raised multiple red flags for teams, but his college production cannot be ignored. Playing in the SEC he dominated being at the top of the conference in almost every pressure stat. Eagles add to a DL that lost multiple productive pieces post Super Bowl run.
Pick 24 — Cleveland Browns (from Jacksonville Jaguars)
Selection: WR KC Concepcion - Texas A&M
The Browns double dip on the offensive side after securing their tackle for the future with the selection of KC Concepcion. Concepcion is a perfect compliment to Cleveland's current weapons, while giving their Sophomore QB Duo another home run option. The Aggie pass catcher has shown an ability to get open and get open FAST.
Pick 25 — Chicago Bears
Selection: DT Peter Woods - Clemson
Giving up the 6th most rushing YPG in 2025, it will be key for 2nd year coach Ben Johnson to turn this defensive front around. Peter Woods is an uber athletic DT who has great pass rush upside. Scoring multiple rushing TDs last season, Woods is a type of player that can be utilized in a variety of schemes and rarely needs to leave the field. With solid Edge rushers at both sides, Woods could be wonders for the rushing defense in Chicago.
Pick 26 — Buffalo Bills
Selection: CB Colton Hood - Tennessee
Buffalo was once again on the outside looking in to Super Bowl Sunday, and this time it triggered them to clean house. Getting exposed on the backend once again reared its ugly head, and this time the Bills triple down with another selection in the secondary. Colton Hood took over as UT's CB1 and immediately filled McCoy's shoes. A twitchy, rangey corner, Hood is a ballhawk. This seems like an easy call for Buffalo.
Pick 27 — San Francisco 49ers
Selection: Edge TJ Parker - Clemson
The 49ers have dealt with some of the worst injuries a team can bare these last two seasons. With Fred Warner and others going down defensively, we believe the 9ers will look to reload along their DL. TJ Parker is a raw and powerful athlete who produced out of sheer strength while at Clemson. Pass rush moves beyond power will need to be refined, but Parker has a ceiling as high as any Edge defender in this year's class.
Pick 28 — Houston Texans
Selection: DT Kayden McDonald - Ohio State
The Texans invested heavily into their IOL this offseason, so while many believe they will pick on offensive linemen, we believe otherwise. McDonald is a bruising DT who can immediately raise the overall ceiling of an already dominant DLine. After Paying Will Anderson, the Texans add affordable youth to the room.
Pick 29 — Kansas City Chiefs (From Los Angeles Rams)
Selection: CB Brandon Cisse - South Carolina
The Chiefs secured this pick in the Trent McDuffie trade, so it makes sense they would use it to reload in the secondary. Cisse is 3Tech's CB1, a fluid In-Phase corner who plays with a chip on his shoulder. An impact player every year in college, Cisse is the perfect replacement for McDuffie in KC.
Pick 30 — Miami Dolphins (From Denver Broncos)
Selection: WR Omar Cooper Jr. - Indiana
Miami is retooling and reloading, gaining this pick from the Waddle trade. The Dolphins need to add youth to a core that is rapidly aging out of their rebuild window. Cooper Jr. has been a darling of many draft analysts, with an ability to bounce off tacklers and continue up field at will. Malik Willis will be happy to hear this pick made.
Pick 31 — TRADE! Arizona Cardinals (New England Patriots)
Selection: QB Ty Simpson - Alabama
The Cardinals send pick 34 and 143 for pick 31.
Jacoby Brissett enters this year as the Cardinals starting QB. New HC Lafleur will look to add guys that fit his system, and were not convinced Brissett is one of them. Ty Simpson looked like College Football's best QB 2/3 into the season before a disastrous end to the year. A strong armed processor, Simpson took a beating behind Alabama's OL and nonexistent run game. Look for the Cardinals to trade up for this one.
Pick 32 — Seattle Seahawks
Selection: CB Chris Johnson - SDSU
This pick is simply to state that we believe the Seahawks will NOT take a running back in the first round. Book it. Chris Johnson is a dawg. Hawks fans you will love him.
